Welcome to the site Tid!

We definitely face unique challenges. Aside from the feeling of being overwhelmed sometimes from not having another person to help out with the workload, one of the things I've been concerned with is the fact that my son is missing out on seeing the husband/wife social interaction that occurs in an "intact" family.

Usually when we are home it's just us two, and I know there's something he could be learning by seeing two loving adults talking and showing affection toward each other.

I just try to constantly engage him by talking to him and showing unconditional love and affection.
