You may have already heard about this story. I ran across it myself on another blog.
It's about a little girl who has been through hell at the hands of her "parents". It is truly tragic and it may make you cry. But the "ending" is still being written and hopefully she will come out of it with minimal scars.
"The Girl in the Window"
When I read it my first reaction was anger at the parents who could do this to a child but that soon gave way to just sadness for the girl. What she must have gone through.
My little niece owns some pet gerbils that just had some babies. And I see the mother and father gerbils caring for their babies. Is it instinct or do they feel love? I don't know but to see these little creatures care and protect their babies, and then to read about people doing this to a child, it sometimes makes me wonder...what does it mean to be human beings...
